I need a lower shock bush for a 2002 Renault Grand Espace, is such a thing available anywhere? Gone cross-eyed on the net looking for one, but can only find the entire shock assembly, seems like a lot to pay for, when I only need the eyelet bush?
Can anyone help?
Motor factor?
That's tomorrows job, just wondered if there are available separately?
Have a look here - Superflex
and here - www.powerflex.co.uk
Motor factors will do bushes too. Just have to ask them nicely and if they don't they might just point you in the right direction. I would've if I was asked nicely.

In my experience which doesn't include french cars it's part of the shock and not replacable.
You should be able to get them from a good Motor Factors - my local mechanic sourced some for my '03 Scenic RX4 here on the Isle of Wight! Renault don't list them, only the whole shock at a ridiculous price!
Thanks for the replies, none of my local motor factors stock bushes, and the price to replace the shocks ranges from around £80 to around £240 (good old Renault, for perspective £120 for a rear wiper arm!), so it looks like i'll have to strip out whats left of the old bush and measure up, thanks for the link Fruitbat, although I did find links to bushing suppliers, I was hoping for one listing the bit I needed! what was I thinking............
If anyone knows a motor factors in south lakes that do bushes though?
Try taking the old bush along to an Agricultural Machine dealer - they seem to have stocks of all sorts of weird and wonderful bits - I get odd roll pins, circlips etc from them - Farmers are tight and will repair anything rather than buy a new one!
Tried Europarts online?
gsf car parts may stock them too
Looks like I need a shock, as when I took the bush out, the shock dropped to full extension and wouldn't budge without the use of a LARGE breaker bar, every 'working' shock I've ever fitted cycled between top and bottom with hand pressure only,
so one perished bush now equals two shocks - best price £100, just what I needed at Xmas, as its the wife's car I wonder if I can wrap them and put them under the tree?
