My vectra is making some interesting twanging sounds when I steer, I suspect broken suspension springs.
Any recommendations for an honest (and hopefully cheap) mechanic? My usual garage has just closed down.

Good garage for stuff like that - Dan Thompson at Tomson Motor Co. - Giles Street (deepest Leith, by The Vaults). Also renowned Google 'street murder' victim 🙂
