It's time I got a new wagon, so I was wondering about car brokers... Anyone used one? Or even used car suppliers of Huddersfield at all?
And what does a car broker do, pray, for their piece of flesh?
I know a few from my time in finance, erm, they're friends so it's hard to say, but they're snake oil merchants unless you're that short on time you simply cant arrange your own test drive or worse what to buy something unseen.
They're good for a laugh though, I once heard one tell a client in a serious tone that if he didn't spec Sat-Nav (at £10k) for his new Porsche as much as £5k! This geezer nodded sagely and then added the sat-nav he didn't want, or he might struggle to sell it on...
Are you buying new new or used new?
If new new, it would be worth looking into drivethedeal type sites.
