She was Thunderbirds dude.

It was The Angels or something like that in Captain Scarlet. Three foxy chicks that flew the fighter attack jets.

I'm always amazed how good the models looked tbh considering it's like 50 years ago I think they're still cool

Poor old Mysterons. Capt. Scarlet and his mob turn up on Mars and fire off a load of missiles and the Mysterons are the bad guys?

New Thunderbirds tomorrow.

Bad PR by the Mysterons.

If they had gone to Lawyers 4 U they would have been minted.

Symphony. Rhapsody. I had to peek though.

The vehicles were definitely cool. Though I'm more Supercar vintage.

Indestructable Captain Scarlet, strangely a lot of kids thought they where as well and did daft things, they soon found out they where not indestructable.

Ha! I can go back to Twizzle and Four Feather Falls! I have large die-cast models of Supercar, Fireball XL5 and Stingray,
I used to have lovely plastic kits of Fireball and Stingray as a kid, which I got from cereal manufacturers. No idea what happened to them, sadly.

Thing I loved about CS was that people were killed in it, no modern TV show aimed at the same demographic has the same plot lines.

Ok, I may be mistaken but I don't know of any.

Thing I loved about CS was that people were killed in it,

But they werent real people they where marionettes,(puppets) with no feelings or emotions and controled by very fine wires by human puppeteers.

But they where killed to be reinlivened by the Mysterons,a ficticious alien force from the planet Mars and CS was able by a process of retro metabolisim to be repaired.

Sorry to destroy the ilusion,

Hmm I think Airwolf used to kill people wheras blue thunder didn't 🙂 but your right...

I rember when kids ran around with plastic guns and adults didn't sh*t themselves

Yes, they were murdered then bought back. I don't think any modern TV show aimed at kids/young adults is similar.

Airwolf doesn't count as that was obviously fiction. :))

The champions was 3 real action spies who crashed in tibet in a plane and where rescued by a secret sect of monks who rebuilt and refurbished them with super human powers, each episode they would suffer serious injuries and recuperate themselves.

Again, I don't think any modern TV show is any where near like it, I worked with a guy who bemoaned Pokémon as being too violent for his kids.

Loved Tom and Jerry though, twonk.

My favourite programme growing up. Some fantastic casting suggestions here 🙂

A remake couldn't possibly match the original

Hanson's a bit too wooden to play CS, tbh.

New THUNDERBIRDS ON itv1 plus 1 now, its all cgi and noisy, not a patch on the original puppet series, to jumpy and poorstory line.

A Fanderson.

😉
Why do I not recall the female cast wearing things like that? 😯
Perhaps my younger mind couldn't cope and auto-censored.
Is disappoint with myself. 😐

I didn't remember those uniforms either, but I did remember the purple nylon wigs that some of the SHADO women wore. Except I only found out that they were purple just now, in my day they were a shade of grey

IIRC the actor playing SHADO Commander Ed Straker also voiced Captain Blue
