Cannot find any 0W-20 (my manual recommends) in Eurocarparts which is just down the road from me.. but they have 0W-30. thanks

Match up the specification, not the numbers.

What car are you running that takes such a light oil? Are you sure you are reading the oil spec for the UK

If you go into Europarts they will match the oil to your car from the Reg. I would have thought it should be around 5W-30 fully synthetic. Its a common oil thats in my 307 Pug and Vivaro van.

try a toyota dealer.

If it was a 15 yr old car then it would be worth the risk - not on a 1 yr old - presumably still in warranty. it would probably void the warranty on the engine: big risk IMO.

Check the spec in the handbook, it'll be something like ILSAC GF-5
