I need to get myself a new laptop and with TV prices dropping I am also thinking of getting a TV
However I use BBC Iplayer a lot and movies on my PC.
Is it possible to use a TV as a monitor? Are there any AV ports orHDMI thingies I need to look out for?

Mine's got a HDMI out socket and works well with my telly.

Yeah but sometimes the text might look blurry and rubbish.

as has mine and my TV takes a standard monitor cable as well
