I've tried changing the defaults in the browser but stw seems to override them. I can just make it bigger but I like to open threads in different tabs and when I open a link in another tab it resets to the smaller size.
Any ideas?

If you are using FF, you can press Ctrl and zoom in?

I'm using Safari, though I've just tried it in firefox and it doesn't reset the size/zoom when you open a thread in a new tab. Hmmm.....

Can't help with Safari but there's an addon for Firefox called NoSquint that'll do the trick
