I know this is kind of early, but I'm planning a long weekend cycle touring in the summer, one night of which will be camping in Purbeck.
What I'm after is a nice natural campsite with woods and hills that allows campfires. A view of the sea would be a bonus.
Any ideas?

Not sure about the fire thing, we have a LOT of heath fires down here and not sure Dorset fire brigade would be too keen on the idea.
Other than that, there are campsites all over the place so plenty of choice.

If you haven't already seen it, make sure you watch Nuts in May before you go.

Burnbake campsite located halfway between the chain ferry and corfe castle allows camp fires but there's no sea view. It's cheap tho. You'll struggle to find one with a sea view that also allows camp fires but there's one on the hillside behind swanage that may have the view but fires are not permitted.
