We wanna spend the weekend riding some of our old favourites at Cranham but are having difficulties finding somewhere to camp, so can anyone recommend us a campsite please. Ta

Caravan/Motorhome or tent? there is a campsite just behind Cranham woods on the road to Slad.

I agree with mrmo,

It's about half a mile from Fostons Ash pub heading towards Birdlip on the left.

The only visible sign says "Private camp site" although I believe it is something Farm.

Just tried to find details on this site and can't find a thing.

The guys that cycle round Cranham must have an idea on the name of the camp site, it's a decent size but clearly they don't like to advertise.

This is frustrating, let's have some more local knowledge.

That one is close to * farm, I didn't know that existed and I travel that road every week.

Looks like a decent location and not far from Fostons Ash pub.

I'm going to have to drive past * farm to satisfy my curiosity.

Always wondered which club you needed to be a member of to use that camp site

Shirne and other good trails can be found at the bottom of the camping field.

The next closest one is gonna be on the outskirts of chelt by GCHQ but I think that one only takes caravans! I guess you could do what all the local teens do and just camp up the top of the cheese roll hill! I'll bring youva coffee on the morning 😉

Lookmanohands, thanks for the coffee offer. :)We've just secured some "garden" camping so will be up for a ride hopefully sat and sun. Anyone from Bigfoot on here these days ?

I am up in the woods most nights so I think I might.
Trouble is next year I will be marathon training so wont be in the woods much.
