Thinking of surprising MrsSwadey with a cheap weekend away walking for the two of us for her birthday this year, even though she "doesn't want" to do anything special.

I know it's just expensive camping, but thought this might be fun to try - anyone got any experiences of camping pods and/or this site?

Cheers

We've stayed in the wigwams at Dalbeattie a couple of times. Great for a cheap weekend away, especially in the winter/early spring when it's still getting dark fairly early. I wouldn't personally bother with them in the summer.

Saw the wigwams last time we went up there - luckily we know quite a nice farm cottage that way. Shame we couldn't afford to buy it when we were offered the chance!
