Anyone got a C3 picasso, how is it for space with a family?

Just got one little baby at the moment (hence getting a bigger car) and was thinking of this car, but a voice in my head says get the bigger berlingo in case we have another one in a year or so!

The Picasso is much more car like, rather than Van like.

Had a look at the C3 Picasso last year, just didn't 'feel right' and a bit too cheap plasticy for my liking.

Have they fixed the braking issue on them yet? They used to have a problem where, if the front passenger pushed their feet into the foot well a bit too hard the brakes came on - somethnig todo with the master cylinder being positioned for lefthand drive only and a dodgy mod for righthand drive.

we looked at them late last year as replacement for wife's troublesome CMax. Ended up with a Kia Soul - much nicer to drive and funkier. Both have good cabin space and little boot space. Ours is not the main famiy car

The C3 Picasso was on my list but the 1.6 diesel engine was bloody agricultural in both sound and power delivery! Went with a Touran in the end which is bang on for us 2+2 + all the stuff you have to lug around for a wee baby.
