Any suggestions for where, or even if it is a wise idea...?
My compact died, and I have been really enjoying getting good family and landscape shots this year.
I need something that my wife can 'point and shoot' but I can start playing with and trying to learn more.
I wouldn't look at used dslrs personally. There's almost no difference in price between new 'last years' models and used cameras. Have a look at Camerapricebuster and see what's cheap.
also try canon on ebay........they sell refurbished models with warranties for a fraction of the RRP
try talk photography forum
im selling my s5 pro but no idea if thats the sort of thing you're after
fontmoss - depends how much I guess...
What is your budget?
This comes in at 219+postage. A good price. It has in-body stabilisation and you can get adapters from ebay to fit a lot of different brand/type of lenses (all of which will be stabilised).
This is body only, so you will need to buy a lens to get started.
