Basically I will be leading/guiding small groups of young mountain bikers and I am need of a name....

I am struggling to find something simple, but more importantly catchy....any suggestions please....

from a searchengine perspective as simple as possible and with the place/area in the title

eg.

NortWestMTBGuiding

or whatever.

I am right on the border of Worcestershire & Shropshire, but I would be covering both area's 🙂

Ideally I am looking for something short, simple and catchy, harder than it sounds....

I tend to go the opposite route, choose a name, any name, then market the crap out of it.
Do people Google mp3 player or ipod?
Google will find your page through good META tagging and well written text, I believe, so the name isn't that important, IME & O.
Short and memorable names.
Come ride with me.
Ride On
The Pedalers.
Granny Bashers.
44T up. 😉
On the up.

We use the name iPod because of market saturation. The market for guiding on the Worcestershire/Shropshire border is so tiny that won't work.

I suggest something short and descriptive.

Anyway, I didn't think there was any riding in Worcestershire? 🙂

EDIT: how about All Around the Wrekin? 🙂

Luckily enough I work in the field of SEO and have done so for the last 9 years.....so promoting online is not an issue 🙂

The name is the most important for me....

Thanks, chaps, keep them coming....

Another vote for using your name: Mounty Biking
Don't use the s or it'll sound like Sbiking

Menstrual Cycle Guides - For top notch guided rides 3 weeks a month.

Waggle - Why Wiggle when you can Waggle?

Diefenbaker Guiding?

Or a sensible one: Highwyre Guiding?

from the brief above it sounds like you'll be working with young people but presumably paid by adults for it? So you'll want something catchy but not gimmicky, so they trust you.

also not sure if you'll be based where you are for the forseeable future, so i'd possibly only use the location in your name if you think it will help market the business and your not likely to move / branch out.

i was thinking of synonyms of guide:

pathfinders
Pathfinder MTB
trailfinder
trail minders

ps. all this is from someone with no marketing background so may all be pish.

muckytee - Are you independent? Yes I am.

TandemJeremy - I want something catchy (I would prefer to avoid location in name if possible).

But there are some great names above, keep them coming peeps.... 🙂
