Watching kill bill volume 2. If you were buried in a coffin, and you managed to get a bit of the coffin lid out, could you dig yourself out???

Well, depends how deep you were. Much more than a foot or two and it wouldn't be possible i wouldn't have thought.

where would you transfer the soil above you to, as you dig the spoil has to go somewhere.

Didn't some guy get buried alive under controlled conditions?
From memory the coffin started to collase before they'd even finsihed back-filling the hole.

no - no real place to move the soil to as you dig up. Getting out the coffin so you were heading up would be hard as well. as would digging soil with your bare hands in limited space with limited oxygen supply
