I have a spare room that’s 3m x 4m. I would love to make it a 1080p home cinema with an electric 92” screen and pj but need to do so on a really low budget, like >£750 budget.
I don’t mind if the kit is 2nd hand and don’t need surround speakers as I have them, how possible is this?
If you’re willing to forego the electric screen, should be doable with new stuff if you shop around.
TBH, we’ve stopped using ours since we got an OLED screen in the living room and the kids are older.

If what dc has is good for you, I'd go for that as £500 is a good price for a PJ set-up.
I too have a 92" (iirc) electric screen and an Optoma 1080p projector (with silly low hours on the bulb) that I'd be willing to part with - and am in the midlands.
I did this recently. If you have a flat wall no screen is required at all. I project straight onto a plastered white wall. Use Matt not silk, and a pale grey is best.
I bought a set of (wired) Sony surround sound speakers off eBay for £20 as everyone is going sonos.
Get an AV tuner (amp) and you are good to go.
Mine has PS4/Apple TV/sky/dvd inputs. My “screen” is 4m
