After a long process eventually got BT TV set up, but somehow they sent me 2 youview boxes
can I sell one? what's the implications?

Did you sign for two parcels?
Send them an email.
Tell them it must be collected within 48 hours or you will dispose of it.
They won't bother coming to get it.
You informed them so it's then yours to do with as you please.*
* I am not a lawyer and the above might be complete rubbish.
In the not to distant future they should be offering a two box set up, like sky, so might worth keeping.
Knowing BT, they probably signed you up to two contracts :p
If you try selling it on ebay you might get contacted by BT. I'd keep hold of it until or if they ask for it. If they don't you've got a spare freeview hd box.
Btw - they do multi room now, and a mobile streaming service.

I wish we had two. I prefer to use the Youview box over the TVs own tuner. Shame it doesnt have a youtube app though. The EE box does look like it might better though due to having a slingbox type feature which would be useful in rooms with no TV signal.
Check you are not being billed for 2. Then email them. If no response start using it.
