Just why would anyone want to go to a beech that busy anyway, the pictures look horrendous, and the rubbish left on the sand too..

It's just insane.

Mr (Tobias)Ellwood (MP for Bournemouth East) said it was "not practical" to close Dorset's beaches altogether but suggested signs warning about overcrowding could be put up at railway stations and on approaching motorways.

Which Motorways approach Bournemouth or even Dorset? Has Tobias Ellwood ever visited his constituancy?

I suppose the end of the M27 could count.

@MrSmith

I owe you an apology. Sorry.

No not really, it’s the weapons out there not thinking that need to apologise!

"33 tonnes of waste was cleaned up along the coastline on Thursday morning, along with eight tonnes collected between the piers on Wednesday".

I read somewhere that included shit in McD's containers. These people ae ****ing animals and part of me hopes they all contract COVID and die. Yes I'm aware that makes me a really bad person, but it's only part of me. The rest hopes they see the error of their ways and repent to become shining beacons in their societies. I'm not holding out much hope.

The real issue was the amount of relaxed bodies on that beach - the odd ride on a bike can keep you in trim.

Malvern Rider

My ‘middle class bubble’ exists of being a (frankly struggling to keep it together between you and me) primary carer to other half living in a block of rented flats with rats. Struggling to keep a hamd-me-down 15yr old car on it’s last legs with bald tyres. Not so great a place to be at mid fifties bit it could be so much worse. I keep squinting and keep perspective and keep hope. Managed to sell a bike and bought a second hand freezer last week to stop the food going off, but injured myself moving it. I (was) the only one of us who can still lift things. Should I revolt? Party? Both? Shall I join them? Will they laugh at my cracked iphone 5?

Sounds like you should tbh...
