The Whoohwooo song

Song 2. My all-time favourite Blur song. Shocking performance, bloody awful.

Philistines (sp?) the lot of you, bloody love Blur. He's got the tune on ITV2 - just about.

I thought All Bran was struggling with low mic volume

I think he was struggling with what'd just disappeared up his nose.

There's a difference between liking a band and liking a performance.

Yeah fair point. Last time I saw them was at Glasto and it was one of the best gigs of my life; however I expect the spectacle and my three day bender previously probably helped my opinion of his tunefulness!

Me too, but someone was taking the piss there. At least the papers have got something for tomorrow. ๐Ÿ˜•

" Have Blur always been dreadful"
They were always crapper than pulp.

Seen blur loads of times now. By the time they're playing song 2, parklife and girls and boys the crowd's normally so into the event that Albarn hitting the notes doesn't matter. It's the complete performance. Coxon's guitar work is cracking.

I quite liked the ramshackle element to blur's performance. Intentional or not it had a bit of an edge at least and I always forget just how good a guitarist (and vocalist) Coxon really is.

Coldplay - slick but uninspiring.
Florence - perfunctory (loved Lungs but struggling to even admire Ceremonials).
Ed Sheeran - decent although I'm not a fan.
Olly Murs bloke - bit shit.
Adele - good vocal but oddly affected/stylised in places.
Rhianna - someone please shoot her and put her out of her (and our) misery.

Shame Radio 2 run the band category. Would have liked Enter Shikari or Pulled Apart by horses fans to do a 'Cavendish' and get a massive block vote going.

Just watching it on the news, some ginger hobbo won something and the middle class cheese makers got something - outstanding contribution? Wowsers, glad I missed all that.

Am I the only person on earth who thinks Adele is in fact, shite? I just don't get it with her.

It's all been crap since the S-Club broke up anyway.
