Gave it a chance and watched it all but it was pretty disappointing.

The husband and wife pilots raised a laugh and I found the immigration officer funny

:edit: did revise that after watching a few bits again on iPlayer

little britain does a spoof on the "airport" show. amusing in parts, but they really are a one trick pony, and I found the japanese schoolgirl characters really quite offensive

Matt Lucas...

Does he as a gay man, I wonder, have that many issues with lady bits, that he needs to portray women so grotesquely on national television.

surely therapy would be cheaper?

I enjoyed it, some of the characters were borderline offensive to the minorities though?

What does being gay have to do with it ? I'm sure there are plenty of hetero mysoginists out there equally capable of negatively portaying women.

Overall, though, I thought it was pony.

what a really cutting piece of satire at something as difficult as an airport show - does their genius know no limits?

There fixed it for you,a lot of so called straight men dislike women as well, the programe aims to stereotype the various people and staff found at an airport, and just has a bit of fun.

Fun = humour

[rant]

Just because someone does not find the same things as you funny, does not mean they have had a sense of humour bypass. It just means they have different tastes.

[/rant]

...oh and I have not seen the programme in question.

The lie flat seat on the plane thats upright,

and the two stewards who get a bit to freindly,

and the one who gives a small child a teddy and then charges the mother for it,

You miss my point. I was speaking generally and not passing any sort of judgement on the programme in question.
