I bought a cheap loo seat from B&Q a couple of months ago and the thread in the bracket that holds it to the toilet isn’t properly formed, so every now and again it works lose and falls apart. This happened yesterday as my 4 year old son was doing his filthy business and I had to put on a set of marigolds to retrieve some of the components from the pan.
Later on I suggested on Twitter that B&Q should consider finding the person responsible for the defective item and feed them to a leopard.
Today a nice man from B&Q called Dan contacted me and is sending me a gift voucher to cover the cost of a new toilet seat.
I am pleased. Good work B&Q fellas 😀

It took B&Q 6 attempts to deliver, undamaged, the 10 items that made up my order for a new bathroom suite.
I should have tweeted a bit more vociferously about it 😉
