What type of carpet for our stairs and landing? Previous one wasn't cheap but the edges on the treads have all worn through to the backing.
Thinking of getting a runner type thing but both sets of stairs turn a corner at the top so not sure how that would work?
Anyway, all advice re: sturdy, shoe proof (we're not a 'socks only indoors' type family) and (from what I gather) stripey carpet welcome.
