ive been quoted £2180 for a conventional boiler swap, worceter 15ri boiler , removal of old boiler by asbestos specialists, includes new flue ,condensate pipe , chemical flush, includes 10 year parts and labour call out warranty, its with help link and includes a £600 friends and family discount, sound reasonable,
I paid £2700 the other week for a boiler replacement, Worcester Bosch 25 something or other... 6 replacement radiators, 1 new radiator in a room that didn't have one and a wireless control thingy. Local guy rather than big company though.
We paid £1400 to have an old Worcester replaced with a new 30I, but that was with an old school friend I hadn't seen for a long time and without any of the fancy additional warranty stuff.
We've just had a £1920 quote for a Worcester 30i replacing an old combi with no new pipework. Boiler seems to have mended itself in the meantime though 😯
Not sure
I suspect the specialist removal of the old boiler (assuming it needs asbestos specialist is adding to the cost).
I paid £3000 last year for same boiler, new flue, waste install, new central heating tank and 7 new radiators including swapping old microbore to 15mm.
This was a local chap who didn't advertise and was bloody good. South east prices too.
sounds reasonable to me, I paid just under that to have pretty much the same thing done although it was not a Worcester and I only have a 7 year warranty plus 2 years free servicing.
Local plumber charged us £1500 to remove old cast-iron boiler and replace with a new condensing and do some major pipework changes.
