Males of STW, I'm after a favor please.

As part of her Sociology undergraduate dissertation my daughter has compiled an online survey about Male body image and still requires a few more people to take part in it. It's completely anonymous and only takes a few minute to do so if you could spare a little bit of time to complete the online questionnaire it would be most appreciated.

Many thanks in advance.
M

done - a little pigeon-holing forced in the responses but otherwise not too bad a questionnaire compared to some of the other ill-thought stuff we get in here!

Do post up here a summary extract once she's finished/published.

done.

So, reasons for not wanting to look x body type?

Is "looks like a hipster with stupid tatoos" a valid answer?

Done, although I'm not really 'target audience' I suspect. Not so much 'body image' as 'body apathy'...

By some margin.

Shame it wasn't possible to do a multiple choice on body type I wouldn't want to be.

Interesting how many responses you've had on this already..

Cyclists and body image issues..? Go together like quinoa and salad.

Good to see more attention being put on male eating disorder issues. I hope your daughter does well with this.

Done, bloody youths with their (young) age categories...
Defo interested in the results if possible, that picture of Corden wasn't good.

Done, happy to help.

Feedback wise I'd say that the photos didn't offer massive variety. From memory there were two fellas carry a 'little' timber one fat bloke and 6 very fit individuals.

Completed up to the point where I was asked which body would I most like to look like, I was unable to answer none. Sorry

Thanks once again, the survey has now finished as it has reached its max limit. (It was a free version so limited to 175 responses) I will feed back on results when the number crunching has been completed.

same as that. I've no desire whatsoever to look like anybody else, I like being me just as I am.

Good survey and subject, very current with the media and socitial pressures. Age, those over thirty six would be interesting angle as I would say/suggest there are significant issues attached to aging body image and change in attitudes.

Wonders how skewed the results will be when 170/175 responses are from the 36 and over category ๐Ÿ™‚

Done. I look forward to seeing the body image opinions of 40-something males with a penchant for cycling (that will be the 36+ age group) ๐Ÿ˜‰

Is wanting to look like a lean racing cyclist because I race a valid reason? He looked a bit on the big side from the waist up, actually ๐Ÿ˜‰
