[Closed] Bluetooth Headphones

With nights closing in and the weather remaining on the wet side focus is shifting to grabbing a few trainer sessions.

Does anyone have any recommendations for Bluetooth headphones? Need to be pretty robust (things get a little sweaty on the trainer) and not looking to spend a fortune.

Will keep the Mrs happy as I currently drown out the noise of the trainer with a couple of bluetooth speakers!

Plantronic fit Bluetooth band headphone things came highly recommended from here..I got a pair (when they were £50ish on amazon) and have been really impressed...
Now about £66, but price varies..

Waterproof, good battery life.
I wear them solo riding with the phone in a case in the jersey, and have no issues.
Waterproof etc etc.

It's good being able to answer the phone via the headphones too...

I've got a set of these you can have for a fiver posted, if you want to try some. Sound quality is excellent. Bought them to go with a tomtom watch which I sold, so they're just not getting used.

Taotronics ones from Amazon are good. Less than £20, sweatproof enough and sound pretty good, the older big plastic ones are the best sounding headphones I've ever used until I broke them and I've used a lot of earphones up to £125

Plumped for a set of Bose SoundSport, bit spendy but I got paid for an old, ooold job I'd written off.

Only had them a few days but they appear to be pretty excellent so far.

Initial stuttery playback was quickly sorted with an update, sound quality is brilliant (albeit to my increasingly deaf lugs)

I've got the plantronics and some cheap amazon jobs (Anker, I think). Cheapo ones took about 4 months abuse before breaking and were a bit uncomfortable with a helmet on.

The plantronics are very robust but are more open so they let in more sound. Can't really use them when out on the bike or in a gym as they get drowned out (especially as I'm mostly listening to podcasts). Work brilliantly as a handsfree so I can multitask housework with phoning my mum 🙂

I've had some cheapy Coulax ones from Amazon.

They are fine for the tube / train. Only issue is the holes for the buds a non-standard size.

I've also got some bone-conducting ones (Trekx titanium), but they obviously won't drown out the noise of a turbo.

For inside turbo use and with a bit of flexibility in price I'd be getting the mentioned Plantronics as it has a bad atleast around the back of your neck. Because I use mine outdoors so dont want the band I stumped for the Taotronics which were a bargain, just been sent the newly released version as well because the last set battery gave up after 1.5hrs. They're not perfect nor amazing but I don't want to stump up for the Bose wireless equivalent as great as I know they'll be after testing them in the Bose shop and arelady having their fully wired Soundsport version. Maybe Santa will be nie to me although normally he ignores my list!
