Very true, but let's not get too depressed yet.

Who could be depressed when one remembers all those Spurs fans certain they'd finish above Arsenal, and all those red scousers in for a terrible summer!?

St Tottingham's Day has been late this year!

Cannot believe the way that finished... outstanding. Feel a bit sorry for Bolton more bad refereeing.

It equals out over the season, as a QPR supporter, I remember that goal that was disallowed when we played at Bolton.

Turned out to be a win-win for me, QPR stay up and Man city Champions. I can imagine the stick the supporters of the Blue half of Manchester have taken over the years from the supporters of the Red side of [s]London[/s] Manchester.

Blue moon indeed.

Can't deny that Everton deserve their summer of bragging. Neither club should be forgetful of just how far behind their part of the NW is behind the other though.

Martinez to Liverpool?

Still could be a twist in the tale for the deluded spuds if Chelsea win!
Really didn't mind about the mancs but fergies face when the news came in was a picture.

Everybody expected City to win, but they did it against 10 men for half an hour and with five extra minutes to help them.

Any guesses Grum and DD ๐Ÿ˜€

Oh right. Surely he hasn't has he? Last I heard, he offered his congratulations in a gracious fashion. Still doesn't stop me hating the hugely successful flecker. I'm sure he'll get over it though. ๐Ÿ™‚

Joey Barton on twitter saying he doesn't think it was a sending off offence...

Such a shame we sold him.

Not a football fan but enjoyed today. Wish it was like it every season.
I hope that they don't win it next year though. Football doesn't need another team dominating. I'd be happy to see Liverpool and chelsea relegated though.

I am proper laughing at you lodders in the 80's did you think it would come to this level of bitterness and failure you had to cheer this event?
Deepest sympathies for how far you ,your team and "fayns" have fallen

Still a great end to a season and what away to end the drought for City fans.

I've defended Barton in the past, i really thought he'd cleaned up his act, had grown up, and the gist of my points were that his reputation was getting him into more trouble than his actual behaviour.

But not today. I was wrong, I'll admit it. While it does look like Tevez (another sneaky ****er) did start it, what a stupid thing for Barton to do on a day when his team mates needed him most; and then the knee on Aguero in the resulting skirmish. Pathetic.

Hughes is no nonsense, I'd like to think at least. I hope Barton's contract will be terminated at the first opportunity.

Hi have a headache, a sore throat and the embarrasment to live down of my 14 year old daughter seeing me run on the pitch, hug Aguero and come back to our seats blubbering like a baby.
I don't care.

Love it! I suspect she's the one who's more embarrassed!

No embarrassment. I was welling up, and I was just 'watching' it on final score on the PC...you lucky bugger.

Though I did make my nine year old cry by screaming my head off at the winner while she was trying to eat her tea in peace. Then threatening to run up and down the street in my City shirt.

I'm a stones throw from Emirates and there was a good mix of red and blue in the pub I was in. Jubilant scenes when Aguero's goal went in ๐Ÿ˜€

Good to see Ferguson is being gracious in defeat and won't just hark back to past glories (something Liverpool fans are always accused of).

Oh.

I think we have a rich history, better than anyone and it will take them [City] a century to get to our level of history

Nothing sadder nor more embarrassing than a bad winner, even worse when they're haterz and not even City fans... ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

He's not a bad winner though is he? It's the sadsack attitude of everyone who's jumped on the City bandwagon simply to have a bash of Fergie and Utd. It's the ugliest and more immature side of football. But hey, if it makes you feel good, go for it... ๐Ÿ˜€
