Had a wonderful lady run into the middle of the road without looking, see me, and then stop dead right in front of me. Impact saw me sprawled on the ground and, after a trip to A&E I have a confirmed broken elbow. Bike seems fine.

Sue her!  Write to the press!

Let's start a campaign making it compulsory for all pedestrians to be registered, pay 'road tax' & buy insurance.....

Mend soon btw.

If the injury had been to her this would be the on the front page of the Daily Mail "Maniac Cyclist Mows Down Woman".

Hope she's sorry and you heal quickly.

Happened to a mate of mine a few weeks back, luckily he got away with a leg full of road rash.

He hadn’t paid road tax though either so I guess deserved it.

Happened to a friend of mine in Manchester. She stopped at a red light, put a foot down and then a dozy texting pedestrian walked out behind her, clipped her rear wheel with his knee and sent her sprawling onto the floor as he'd sent her towards the side she was still clipped in.

She fractured her arm in two places.

Pedestrian just glanced down, mumbled "sorry" and walked off.

Hope you've got brakes on your bike.

Broken elbow sounds painful, heel soon.

Probably had to, as the pavement (sorry, footway) would have been full of effing cars.

Did you get her details? You might also want to report to police as precaution, because if she calls first and says you were riding recklessly (to avoid liability) and injured her, your broken elbow might be the least of your worries.
