It's how we roll.

Why make things easy, when you can **** up and end up playing Barcelona/Real/Bayern etc and get knocked out in the next round.

Very good Liverpool performance imo. Who says that's not their best team? BR hasn't found his best team yet. Fair enough they have nothing when it comes to strikers, get to box and nothing more, but that can happen when not just 2 of the best strikers aren't playing/sold, but also a fantastic partnership.

Shame they didn't scrabble a draw against such a top team, that would have been the highlight of the season for Liverpool fans to make up for mid table obscurity.

Sorry Jamie,I can see that those odds would be tempting, but you can't begrudge us our first win of the season.

I'm happy to lose a couple of quid, if it means Burnley get a win.

Anyway, West Ham let me down as well.

Junkyard
they have underachieved as money has come into the game and also rans such as City and Chelsea have become rich peoples play things and overtaken them

Sorry Junkyard but
What a crock Of Sh!t
For years while clubs have chased to try and catch up Liverpool, Utd etc (and at no time were any of these clubs spending masses of money for their owners pleasure where they!!)Stop believing what the papers and Sky tv is brain washing you with and look at facts one of which see's Liverpool as one of the biggest spending teams on the planet.
I suppose it's a an easy excuse for Utd and Liverpool fans to pretend they won their trophies without spending a penny which makes them somehow so much better and have more rights than the rest of the teams in the league.

Please bring back King Kenny! He could address that attacking problem by re-signing Andy Carroll for £60 million! 😆

Lol! They miss Sturridge as much as Suarez to be honest. Not many of the signings have worked out but as Rodgers alluded too recently, the top players didn't want to come, Sanchez, for example. Mind you, he's not ended up much better off 🙂

Scouse disgruntlement in the office (always a joy to get in to on a Monday morning) seems to be summed up thus: 'if Rodgers expended as much time and effort training the team as he did on boffing his new girlfriend, then they'd be 12 points clear at the top!"*. Allegedly this is a sentiment shared by the clubs owners. 😆

* Well... top is wildly optimistic, even for a scouser, but maybe better than 12th 😉

If you have seen the price of the pizza slices at the Emirates, you wouldn't be chucking it at anyone.

Reckon it must, pound for pound, be worth more than gold.

Interesting weekend
Feel sorry for Rogers ans without his SAS he is struggling

Feel sorry for Arsenal our first goal led to me laughing it was so undeserved

Lucky that the big man of hair stayed on his feet though

Top 4 playing like this with those injuries

No way is the EPL the best in the world!!

Those Arsenal v United games back then were bloody brilliant!! Did you see Gary Neville asked on Saturday whether the United philosophy, when playing Arsenal, was to just kick them off the park? He thought it about it for a second, then just nodded, with a smirk 😆

Anyway... back on topic. Well done to the Liverpool defence for managing to make ours look good. Quite an achievement at the moment 😉

Arsenal have perfected what is now known as 'doing an Arsenal'. What other team could dominate a match, and then find themselves 1-0 down with the opposition team yet to have a shot on target. The next 5 minutes where 2 players went off injured, and our third choice keeper had to come on as the second choice is injured is just icing on the cake.

*scooches a millimeter nearer to the Wenger out camp*

I loved the way Giroud went to celebrate, and why not it was a lovely goal, but then realised it was the 95th minute and we were losing 8)

I did giggle when we were (completely undeservedly) 1 nil up, and the stats came..

Shots on target - 0

😆

If Arse ever do get rid of Wenger, how are 606 on Five Live going to fill up the two thirds of the show dedicated to the subject every week?

The same way they do now, have someone certifiable phone up and then have Robbie Savage shout their name at them for 5 minutes whilst they rant incomnprehensibly.

"Barry"
"...eferee wasn't even looki..."
"Barry"
"...don't understand why the FA pay the assista..."
"Barry"
"...anager must have been mad to take him..."
"BARRY"
"...not even our third choice left ba..."
"BARRY"
"...can't understand why Woy hasn't given him the nod..."
"BARRY"
"...straight red for diving and a three match ban..."
"BARRY!!"

...

And so on
