Nice one Fella! Your guests can check out the swearyness 😉
Daz - I'm getting a print run ready at the moment. Hence not riding later. Got a few things need to be at the printers tomorrow. For authenticity it is actually being printed in Tod. Best digital print set up I've yet come across. Which is handy!
Should have them back and framed this week
And while I'm being self-indulgent and narcissistic and showing off new work.... here's a commission I did recently for Col P (of this parish) from a photo he sent me of his son in Morzine. My interpretation of it.....

If you do want a portrait doing of yourself or your offspring/long suffering partner, give us a shout.
That looks great Col! I absolutely love seeing pictures of my work where they were destined to be. Especially one off pieces like that. Thanks for posting that up! 🙂
I think I'm going to save up for another
It got hung up yesterday in our apartment, looks great!
Think I might need to buy some new cushions before I post up a picture of mine when I receive it.
Or have some made. I'm the very person 🙂Think I might need to buy some new cushions
I just thought I'd resurrect this again, not just to satisfy my narcissistic tendencies (pay me more attention or I'll scweam until I'm sick!) but because
a) Its exactly a year since all this nonsense started. And what a year its been! Phew!
b) The Stoodley Pike design is back from the printers, and the first one has been framed and is now gracing its new home

Watch out for another thread regarding this design over the next week. I've had a one off of print of this done in pinks. Its a total one off. The only one that will ever be printed. Looks really good too. I'm going to get it framed and then its going up for auction to whoever fancies it. All the money will go to Jenns charities
Watch this space.....
I'm going to keep on doing this, you know. I'm going to keep resurrecting this thread any time I'm feeling like a bit of flagrant self-promotion. And I've just done this to mark the 40's weekend in Rammy this weekend. And I'm quite pleased with it. So there! 😛

I'm still waiting for the coffee table book of MNPR posters.....
Nah. They're too good to keep covered up in a book....
Pretty much every one of these little works of art bring back memories of top rides* with a good bunch of lads and ladies. Makes me smile every time I look at it as I'm walking downstairs in the morning.
*Apart from the BMX one of course. 😉
Bregante - I'd move the toilet into a bigger room just so I could enjoy looking at that every day. 😀
Right you lot. Here's your chance to come and see, in the flesh/on the paper some absolutely stunning, cycling-themed artwork produced by an incredibly talented artist.
I'll have some of my stuff on show there as well! 😀
Come and say hello to myself and Beate , who's amazing watercolours regularly grace the pages of Singletrack (yes... apparently theres a magazine)
We're at Blazing Saddles cycles in Hebden Bridge, this Saturday (25th) from 11. Theres loads of other stuff going on as well, as part of Hebden Bridge arts festival

No way I could get up there to see it, but great work from both of you.
You're welcome to put some up for sale in the cafe if you like?
Maybe sort a little card or flyer too.
I fully intended to ride over to Hebden on Saturday morning. I even suggested it to Wittonweavers and Co yesterday.
...and then the lovely Mrs B reminded me that it's my daughters birthday.
Cheers Col! I'll be in touch about that. Thanks!
Just going to send a new Lake District design to print, which should hopefully be back for the weekend 🙂
As promised, my flagrant self promotion continues at pace. I've actually been doing a bit of darkside stuff for you lycra wearing types. Heres the view down the Kirkstone Pass, down the struggle, towards Windermere

Come and say hello if you're at Northern Grip next weekend. Theres new designs afoot, including a new T Shirt print I'm particularly chuffed with, which is definitely a departure from the normal style
I seem to have been neglecting my shameless self-promotion of late. Don't worry... I've not become any less narcissistic or self-absorbed. I do appear to have gone increasingly roadie though. Hmmmmmm. Not sure how thats happened...
Anyway... I've just drawn this. It is going to be printed absolutely mahooooosive on an entire wall. My life is hell. I don't know how I cope

Surely that roadie should be in an aero tuck?
[edit] stare at it long enough and he could be going in either direction, maybe the wheels or bike need an outline to make it obvious?
Actually now.you mention it TINAS, I'm liking the ambiguity of it.
Marvellous work Binbins, all of it.
I think it's because he's on the left of the road too, if he were to the right then he'd be coming towards you.
shouldn't he be off the bike and running?
Mr Binners continues to produce great pieces of art.
Here is a commission that he has been working on for me. It arrived a few days ago and has just been put up in prize position in the kitchen.
Me and my partner doing the things we love in the area we love living in. Leith Hill Tower, Ranmore, Denbie's, Dorking (home), Box Hill and London in the background.
If anybody is struggling to think of a gift for somebody then drop Binners a message and see what he can do for you.
Having something on the wall that is so unique and personal feels very special.
Thanks Ad.
Maybe I should commission a nice image of Piccadilly Station approach complete with the Tap and Greggs.
Looks good that though.
Thanks very much for posting that up Pete. I do love seeing them up where they belong
Here's the image:

i was really happy with it, and glad you are too.
I have to say that it is a genuine pleasure, and an honour, that people trust me to portray the people and the places that they love. It really is humbling. Mrs Binners thinks its absolutely hilarious how much I agonise over them, when they're one off like this. She says that I'm never nervous about anything (translation: you're a cocky little gobshite) except when I'm sending finished artwork through to people to see what they think. Its horrendous! Its so personal that I end up a bloody wreck
Anyway... enough of my self-indulgence. I get to draw pictures for a living. I've not really got owt to moan about, have I?
Oh... and Slowoldman... thats not a million miles away from something I'm working on at the moment 🙂
And while I'm in blowing my own trumpet mode - as if I'm ever in any other mode - heres the final of 3 pieces I did for Biketreks up in Ings. A picture of their shop, up as you walk into the shop. Its a trifling little 4.5m wide whole wall affair

I've not seen it in the flesh yet. But, once again, how bloody lucky do I feel that people want me to do stuff like this? 😀
I hope you don't charge by the inch! 😉
Lovely work again. One day I'll find the space, the money and the agreeable wife for the big MNPR montage.
I hope you don't charge by the inch!
Only at weekends.....
Flash - if you charge by the inch, I can probably afford it. 😆
The Biketreks one looks great. They seem to scale very well.
Fella coming down the hill on the bike needs to watch out for that closed gate though.
I prefer the version on peekays wall to the one you posted binbins. I think the two flying saucers finish it off nicely.
I'm not going to stop this you know. I can keep this thread going for ever. You'll get bored before I do* 🙂
The last big piece has just gone up at Biketreks up in't lakes, and its fair to say I'm quite pleased with it. The reworked illustration is of riders stood on the slipway of the Hawkshead ferry, looking over Windermere

* yes, I'm sure you all are already
I'm still to be convinced that Binners' new 'career' as an artist is not just a rouse cooked up by his carers to stop him pestering the other clients at the daycare centre.
*patronising voice* "And you're doing very well, aren't you Adam?"
"He's no idea, bless 'im, but it keeps him happy"

Creepiest. Necklace. Ever.

A huge, and genuinely heartfelt thank you to all of you who've been so supportive of me wielding the crayons, and making it such an amazing year.
Have a great day, you lot!
Ohh, I hadn't seen the one of The Struggle. Can you buy that as print?
You can indeed. It's one of two. The other one is looking up the Kikstone Pass with the pub and the turbines in at the top
Where and how Binners?
Depends what size you're after mate. I can do them in any colour option too. If you drop me an email on rowlinsonadam@gmail.com i can send you some options through, when I've got festive shenanigans out of the way.
Have a great Christmas! 🙂
I'll be up to see you in the new year Pal.. I've a big blank wall that needs filing.
Just to say, that red version of the Stoodley Pike print is on my wall tonight, that's me about to drop off the front of the hill.
Wonderful piece of art.
