That's my dog walking shoes out of action!

Edit - looks like videos struggle?

I made some bird boxes at the weekend. Am hoping some deserving tits take up residence

I have nothing to add on birds but when I was a boy, my Kawasaki KX100 spent a winter in bits in the shed at the bottom of my Auntie Jean's garden and when I dragged the bits out in spring to put her back together, the expansion chamber was rammed full of acorns from end to end. 🙂

Got a Robin in the storage unit in the carport. Slight snag is it's supposed to be coming to the new house with me in a few weeks. Hopefully they've fledged by then.

On the tractor hydraulics valve block right under the cab. They were quite resident by the time we realised and didn't mind the daily trip from farm to woods and back and working on slopes.

Think they were wrens from memory. 3 hatched and fledged.

We once found an owl upside down at the bottom of our chimney. That was a fun extraction experience 😉

Once had a flycatcher make a nest in the tracks of a 7 tonne excavator in Beauly forest, it just had to sit there until they fledged, glas I wasn't paying the lease on it!

Unusual for us! SpringWatch has come to TiRed mansions after a year of waiting and nothing happening. Mrs TiRed bought me a Green Feathers Box and solar camera and this year after 16 months, we have residents! The level of excitement is high!
