Anyone on here used a Biolite camping stove ? Like the look of the set they do with kettle and grilling attachment so was wondering if there was anyone with experience of using them
Yep, got bought one for my birthday. Great idea, actually really hard to use in the real workd, now an expensive paper weight
One of my mates got bequeathed one of these. The small one that has a USB port on it. I was preparing for disappointment, but with the aid of some wood I've had drying for a couple of years and a firelighter It worked pretty well & was incinerating wood at an alarming rate. It also managed to put a bit of charge in my phone.
I'll qualify this by saying, perfect conditions, dry wood, firelighters and no urgency to make hot drinks. I won't be hurrying out to buy one any time soon. Paperweight sounds about right.
