Makes you realise how much info an email address contains doesn't it...

first name
surname
age
company name
partner's first name
who their ISP is
...

obviously not all in the same address.

Big mistake but you probably shouldn't read the electoral roll!

A local event centre used to send out marketing emails like this. One polite 'reply-to-all' to all their customers suggesting they use the BCC function seemed to result in me being taken off their mailing list. Double win 🙂

My emails contain none of those as I'm not that daft.

Maybe not Drac, but can you imagine the chaos if STW sent out a mass email about the next big thing in their review section, with all our emails visible? For one they would get sold off to some shady marketing list, as well as everyone signing Cougar up to 'arty' websites and a mass protest on here.

The email address I have on my public profile here is readily changeable, were that to happen. Y'know, just in cast you get any funny ideas.

Yes if they were to get hacked then sone would have issues with their emails. Many do use their name and year of birth. I don’t.
