SRAM 3-speed hub on my Brompton went boing on Friday, sort of works but sounds like a death-rattle while it's doing it...
The LBS could so easily have said "That'll cost you £££££'s for a new wheel".
Instead, they just said "Whatever route we take with this, you being happy is the aim". They'll send it back to SRAM - customer not happy - give us a free replacement - build into a new wheel - have it done by Sat - lend me the shop Brompton in the meantime.

A great LBS makes all the difference
Mountain Trax in Wokingham are pretty bloody awesome too - great shop run by a cracking team of blokes
