Managed to bugger up the return spring and plastic lip seal for my xt rear mech.
Madison wouldn't have the £3.50 parts till the end of march and can't afford £55 for a new mech so asked if anyone had an old mech I could cannabslise..
Midlife replied almost straight away and a week later I have a replacement mech that only requires jockey wheels and a banco plate..he wouldn't even take any money for it.
Big thanks to midlife crashes for saving me from a month without riding- beer money has been donated as discussed!
