Not many planes about at present obviously but seen this a few times in the past couple weeks coming in to Bournemouth, presume carrying supplies? What plane is it?

It’s an airbus A340 owned and operated by European Aviation bringing PPE from China and Malaysia

Well it's an Airbus A340 (big, four engines, not a Jumbo or A380 double decker or a military or russian weirdy).

Plugging "planespotting Bournemouth A340" into google gives me this:

EDIT - what they said! 👆🏻

They are ex-Virgin A340s

Chap down here (Paul Stoddard, European Aviation - he used to own Minardi F1 before it became Toro Rosso)has bought 4, and now leased out to a Maltese company doing PPE flights to/from China.

Two flying at the mo, 9H-EAL and 9H-NHS, with a third joining shortly.

Going out most days, and doing lots of training flights in between Cardiff and Bournemouth.

We live on the flight path so see it pretty much constantly at the mo!
