They are [url= http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baklava ]Baklava[/url]. Very, very syrupy and sweet. About a bazillion calories in the box.

I married a Greek girl this year, I concur big fat Greek wedding is a documentary, not a commody plus her parents are just back from home with a suitcase full of the same!
