I've stuck signs in it, put it on Gumtree and Friday ads and am thinking of eBay buy it now but this fills me with dread. Guessing it's not a great time to sell right after Christmas but any other suggestions for most chance of selling please.

eBay - I put my old one complete with an engine with a hole in it and a clear view of the shiny bits on eBay and got 3 times as much as the scrappy offered me for it.

Stealth ad posed as a question? 🙂

Or more helpfully - I had an MOT failure old van to get rid of. Put it on the local Facebook sales groups and sold it within a couple of days

My tips would be:

1, Get a value from a trader / we buy any car.
2, Add a little on to that and put on Facebook - ignore the offers for a fraction of your reserve price.

Not sure how old or how bad it is, but mine was a Vauxhall combo - had a couple of mechanical issues and failed MOT - scrap value approx £125 - got £200 for it.

It's 05 transit and in great nic with Mot till October. Nothing wrong with it I just don't need it as downsizing my business so not looking for peanuts. I will try eBay and ask my mechanic Re value. Is autrotrader worth trying?
