Not a sob story just looking for the best free advice.
Built my downhill bike up on friday after a year of not being on it, gave it hell on sunday and loved it - signed up to race at inners in 2 weeks time.
between now and then I've got a 3 hour beginners climbing lesson (which I'll be totally spent off) and I'm riding saturday and sunday at hamsterly.
what I want to get is the best possible preperation for my lungs for a 3/4 minute aggressive track.
I've got a road bike, should I pop out each night doing short aggressive intervals or longer high heart rate but more steady?
left it a bit late but every little helps
tabata intervals 2 x week
you might need to google it
that's the best you can do
Perfect thanks Dave ๐
Haha... might of guessed you'd beat me to it!!
Just seen that video you sent over Dave... nice one! ๐
20sec on 10sec off - dig deep got it, I'll do it on the roady down the canal so if I pass out I can go for a swim. Is it going to be best choosing a similar gear to what I'd be racing on or spinning fast or grinding?
