The best reason I was given was from a few years back...
"You wear shorts too much".
I was only with her for the Spring/Summer FFS! 😀

"You don't suit really short hair"
She had cut it for me! She was a hairdressing student at college and I'd had long hair. She wanted me to dye it black too but I refused.
In fairness to her that wasn't the only reason she gave me.
She was upset about the Challenger Space Shuttle exploding too....
