I got a few this time last year from Screwfix. Cheap as anywhere I could find online and picked up from the local shop.

I bought one from Cheapsuites - seems to be the same deals as Bestheating, but cheap suites is a bit cheaper but charge for delivery. Product line sand stock levels identical between the sites so probably the same company. Hopefully the products are good not installed yet.

IIRC Toolstation were cheaper than Screwfix for standard rads

Recently bought radiators from trade radiators - http://www.traderadiators.com/ good selection of steel and alu rads. Delivery has always been when they said it would be, price was good too.

Be wary of cheap radiators. I've often found they are full of debris from manufacturer.

was gonna say - you want cheap or you want quality at a good price

ive seen cheap cheap rads leak from new - ive also seen them leak like sieves within 5 years - land lords would never pay us to stick anything better in.... more fool them.

Trailrat - prefer quality at good price! So based on that, does everyone still run with their recommendations?

Hmmm, Warmrooms is a bit XTR - I guess I'm looking at SLX! So where on that scale would people rate Screwfix, Traderadiators and Cheapsuites? Or are any of them approaching ProMax levels of quality...

Our house is pretty much all Screwfix Rads which seems to be fine (lasted several years so far). The only problem one I've had is the bathroom, where the continually high humidity caused it to rust through on the welded edge between the two halves - this happened pretty quickly (say 2-3 years) which was how the previous radiator died. I now have a stainless steel towel rail in the bathroom.

The Kudox ones I got from Screwfix were rated pretty well, for what it's worth they've all been fine with no leaks and the bashed end panels can be replaced direct from the manufacturer (who were very helpful when I phoned)

screwfix dont make radiators so saying cheap ones from screwfix is not very handy.
