I'd argue Amazon is your best bet https://www.amazon.co.uk/whisky-whiskey-scotch-bourbon/b?ie=UTF8&node=359904031

Thewhiskyexchange.com is also a good one should Master of Malt not provide you with enough inspiration

I used Drinksupermarket.com for some Christmas presents. Good choice and quick delivery.
Quite fancy the 1971 Glenmorangie for £900 myself.

Used www.houseofmalt.co.uk a few times. Good selection and their own bottling too

Thanks all. Currently perusing Master of Malt. Might have to make a purchase or two for myself, too.

Right now Asda are doing Aberfeldy at £25 bottle - good and slightly unusual whisky at a decent price
If you want something unusual and have the time, you could try the auction sites Just Whisky or Whisky Auctioneer

He needs educating.

Got him a 14 year-old Tomatin, Port Wood finish.

If he doesn't like it, he can bloody well let me have it.
