Want a laptop for wifey for her masters, what's the best off the shelf jobby for £300, we have a router, will I need to buy anything extra so she can wander around the house with it or do they have the gubbins built in to connect to my router?

Prices change on a daily basis. A lot of makes have big companies backing them, my home computer is a Lenovo which is really just IBM
