Bought the missus some AKG on ears, £50 at Richer sounds.
Well impressed, and I hate headphones.

A little over budget but Beyerdynamic T51P.
Simply brilliant - one of my go-to pairs when I'm not listening to my Hifiman HE1000K's (£2500) and they - £ for £ - hold there own.

Grado SR80e - exceptionally good phones for under a ton.
