We have a couple of old folding chairs from Asda which are on their last legs (sorry) and a massive very comfortable one which is impractable (the wife's). I'm after any recommendations for lightweight and comfortable folding chairs for the upcoming boys' cricket season. Moon on a stick!?

fishing chairs are worth a gander apparently, though I'm still looking, so would be interested in what you find.
Costco do a folding beach chair every year. It's sturdy and comfortable if a little low down. It's my favourite chair for camping and fishing as it's so comfortable and it even reclines. Had mine for about 5 years or so.

I quite like the look of the Alite ones. Robens have some taller and more conventional versions.
Helinox? Spendy but lightweight

Folding is soooo old school. Rigid is the way forward.
Love those Alite and Helinox ones... Vango good range. Actually for watching cricket a rigid chair eddiebaby would suit the occasion! Thanks for the replies some ordering to do.
Got the tall helinox ..far more comfy than the shorter version but not cheap.
Despite Doug's recommendation I find all the folders with bars that cross over underneath dig in to your hamstring area unless you're very small. Go outdoors did once have a version which addressed this problem by using an extra bend underneath but no longer stocked.
