Gene Hackman in the unforgiven...nasty bstard

gave me nightmares for weeks as a kid
Gave me a few sleepless nights as an adult - only ever seen it on TV the once and, up until now, hadn't met anyone else who'd seen it. Anytime I've described it to mates they've taken the piss at the idea of a phone box being scary.
Either you are an oldie ( 😉 ) or it has been shown again. From my understanding it was only ever shown once in the BBC late one night some time in the 70s and never again. It was on YouTube very briefly and taken down and isn't available on DVD (or at least it wasn't last time I looked about 6 months ago).
(High 5s a fellow La Cabina experiencer 🙂 )

Sadly, it's option A - I saw it back in the late 70s. Watched it with my girlfriend of the time and would have to admit to being too freaked out to take proper advantage of her when she needed comforting 😳
As another contender for ultimate baddie, how about:

LOL
I would prop telephone box doors open with my foot for ages afterwards just in case...
You really can't beat this for a casual psycho
Perfect.

Im sure ive seen that phone box film twice, funny how its not easy to find now
The phone box film was actually a short made-for-tv by some Spanish director and is called La Cabina.
Basically man gets trapped in phone box (and IIRC most passers-by just ignore him like it is a normal occurrence), workmen come to help and lift the box onto the back of a low loader. He is driven deep into the countryside and into an underground bunker where he is left amongst hundreds more similar boxes, each with dead people in varying states of decay, some with telephone cords wrapped around their necks where they killed themselves. The film ends with a shot of another box being put in place where the old one was.
There is almost no dialogue nor justification for what is happening throughout.
Properly put the willies up me it did.
And just found it here - by the description I think it is a copy (and it was never officially released) http://www.tv-memories.com/detailslacabina.htm?gclid=CLWT9saU0KQCFVhc4woduBdbVQ
Why? Staircases with built-in shoe caddies outfox them?
if you lock the shoe caddies will it foil the old folks who won't be able to put their slippers on to shuffle up the stairs?
evil
Have you ever seen a dalek walking up stairs?
What's happened to the "IMG" functionality and the like?
The telephone shat me up hugely as a kid..
As for baddies...
Portlyone.
'Yolanda' was a great baddie.
Nice but nasty.
while i agree that kiwijohns post on page 2 is a scary scary bad guy
i think it violates several forum rules, and probably some biblical laws too
mods hello???????????
Anybody remember Robert Powell in the film "Harlequin", scared the <%@} out of me (and my wife) as kids...
seriously check out page 2
nsfw!!!!!
Tuco isn't a baddie as such I wouldn't say. Having said that, none of them are "goodies" so he might have to be.
