Heading to BPW next weekend with my son. Anyone got any good recommendation's for local accom options - the links from BPW website aren't overly inspiring?

Simplest option is the Travelodge at Rhydycar. They're happy for you to put bikes in the rooms (ask for a sheet if it's muddy) and you've got the cinema and a few food options on the same park. Plus it's a 2 minute pedal to BPW!

Premier inn in Aberdare is very good. Receptionist even washed and dried my cycle clothing:-)

depends on budget??

your 30 mins from Cardiff so loads of options, depends how close you want to be and budget

+1 Travelodge at Rhydycar

There's also an all you can eat Chinese restaurant, which is perfect for post ride nommage.
