Door bell stopped working yesterday so I changed the batteries, amazed to find the duracells in there had a 'best before date' of 1996 which makes them at least 20 years old and probably nearer 30 😯 😯
Anybody know of any batteries that have lasted longer??

My Texas scientific calculator which I bought in 1985 (argos reciept is still in the case) is still running on the original battery(ies) dont actually know if it has 1 or more!!

That's just reminded me that I had a 'musical' calculator at school, which I learned to play the 'hovis' ad tune on, which is still working, I left school in 1983.
