I have the box set, but don't mind watching this again. Part one on now.

I went halves with my dad and bought the boxset years ago......on VHS.
Haven't had a video for about ten years though! It's a good series for spotting english actors. I think Simon Pegg's in it for couple of early episodes, plus I've been told the guy who played the medic later on was from Dover.
Never could take David Schwimmwer seriously though!
Currahee!!

This might be controversial, but IMHO the best and most important television ever made.
I don't think anything else has ever captured the brutality and camaraderie of conflict as this did.

I saw this advertised last night but wasn't sure how far into the series it was. I'll try and get on catch up.

Dexter Fletcher showed what a good actor he is - his usual thing was 'cockney happy chap', you wouldnt know it was him in it.

Yes, well aware of Damien Lewis' Etonian upbringing!
He was in a series called Life that was good, that nobody seemed to watch.
I think Pacific missed the spot though.

I quite liked The Pacific, the Island hopping campaign made it much harder to produce than the original. Rami Malek was excellent.
