[#2580561]

I have suffered some severe back problems in the last year that I was only now just getting over. Then today, I overextended myself going upstairs in my house, and lost it. I crumpled instantly, and within twenty minutes was sitting in a chair with ice on my lower back.

The thing is, I really don't know what's best: heat or ice? And I have some diclofenac from before, so have taken one 75mg pill, but nothing seems to be touching the pain.

I am certain this is not A & E worthy, but I am hoping the STW surgery will be able to help. Any advice?

I'm not a medical doctor, but would suggest you go to a real one for a real daignosis. This lot couldn't tell you which tyres to use for dry and dusty conditions or which ss frame to buy or what is better, carbon, steel or aluminiun. Yet you come here for medical advice.
Suerte!
FWIW, I took valium when mine went last time and saw an excellent physio.
