After yesterday's race in the pissing rain I realised a small awning off the back of the van would have been perfect. One for keeping the actual back of the van dry and two just a bit more room to stand in out of the rain. Anybody come up with some cheapo solutions or even off the shelf stuff to fit a transit custom? We have got an event shelter but I don't want to be "that bloke" who takes up an extra two parking spots with his **** off great big event shelter especially at a place like stile cop where we were yesterday where parking is limited.

Use this as inspiration:

and make your own.

There is a bit more too the Kiravans one than just a tarp but not circa £150 quids worth. That Ebay one looks about right.

PackaShack?

Always thought it'd be a good idea but never got around to trying one.

Bit pricey though...
