hoping to be as accurate as possible with regards to rock layers, although keeping it black and grey will mean it'll be a challenge to differentiate between layers, could do a subtle colour wash into the background possibly... will see what is drawn up.

Have a butchers Phil. You'll love his armour-plated goodness...

if there's one thing in the world that makes me feel excited and brings back floods of happy childhood memories its dinosaurs.

You don't look a hundred million years old.

[Disclaimer: I have no idea what you look like, I'm just assuming :)]

Dimetrodon's pretty cool:

If you can't get inspiration from the Dinosuars and Boobs website...

I mean, there's even a dinosaur-MTB crossover:

Anyway I can't take T Rex seriously, look at those stupid arms, they'd just look dumb on a tattoo

Okay, I'm going to give you a link to a comical 'artsy' site I'm not allowed to "like" on facebook anymore after my mother told me off (family could see what I like apparently, even with my account locked down) I think some of them are hilarious, particularly since the user created images have historic quotes on them.

No such thing as a Brontosaurus. What was thought to be a Bront was two sets of bones from an Apato and or Brachio.

+1 for Bullhearts Anklyosaurus

or my personal fave, Styracosaurus

Scroll down
I scrolled a fair way down but, you know, lifes too short, the "worst" I saw were "moots seatpost for sale" style of thing

<edit> had another look, in the interests of research, some highly dubious drawings that make me fear for some young mens imaginations but still nothing to get me fired (I sincerely hope) the "...check out that velociraptor" one made me chuckle tho ๐Ÿ™‚

I quite like the Thesaurus.
Or if you want to be a little edgy, the Profanisaurus.

I love the three versions of the Velociraptor, and I particularly like the fact they were probably feathered, although the one on a bike with top hat and monocle is very pleasing in itself. ๐Ÿ˜€
I have a favourite t-shirt I bought in Vail in '93, with a T-Rex riding a mountain bike, complete with oval chainrings and thumb shifters.
